SUMMARY:Victoria Autism Family Night with Guest Speaker Simone Duff (RCC)
DESCRIPTION:We welcome guest speaker Simone Duff\, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)\, will be presenting on parent mental wellness. Simone will be discussing aspects of mental wellness\, such as the integration of physical\, emotional\, psychological\, social\, and spiritual factors. Looking after the needs of self and others\, especially when parenting neurodiverse children\, takes on additional challenges such as learning how to advocate\, additional education\, and sourcing sensory requirements. She will provide some foundational tools to consider for own mental wellbeing. Lastly\, she will discuss the benefits of implementing boundaries around seeking out time for self.  Please note that our regular child care providers are back and both the children’s room and the teen room are open. See you there!
