Victoria Society for Children with Autism (V.S.C.A.) and Katherine Paxton Counselling Services Presents:
I need a Break: Stress and Relaxation for ASD.
Katherine will explore the differences in stress when supporting children and adults who have an autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, you will learn some of the ways children with ASD demonstrate that they are under stress, and tools to help them manage their stress. Note: many of these tools will be helpful for the support people as well, as it is well recognized that helping to support someone with ASD is often very stressful.
