Victoria Autism Family Event- Trains at Heritage Acres
Come explore Heritage Acres, meet other families with autistic children, go for a ride on the train and grab a hot dog for lunch.
Must register on Eventbrite to reserve a train time for your child.
Vancouver Island Model Engineers (VIME) operates a mini railway, located in the Saanich Historical Artifacts Society (Heritage Acres). They have generously agreed to host Victoria Autism family members for a family get-together on May 30th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
Don’t forget your sunscreen, hats, water, and anything else you need to stay safe in the sun.

Please note that this event is for immediate families that are supporting a child who is 18 or younger and has autism. Train priority will be given to those with a registered ticket time. One caregiver can ride with each autistic child. Space may be limited to ensure safety for everyone, as volunteers run the trains and only have a certain amount of capacity.
