Storytime with Aryn Franklin, Author and SLP

Join us live for a very special reading of the whimsical children’s book ‘Narwhal Makes a Sandwich’ by co-author and Speech-Language Pathologist, Aryn Franklin.

‘Narwhal Makes a Sandwich’ is the first book in the series. It is a sequencing and number story featuring hungry Narwhal sick of his usual cold water sushi and looking for a change to liven up his taste buds. He resolves to make “THE GREATEST SANDWICH THE ARCTIC OCEAN HAS EVER SEEN”. Come follow along on this scrumptious adventure through the magical waters of Canada’s north.

Story time will be followed by a few Narwhal-themed activities, including both movement and drawing. Have some paper and colouring tools ready (pencil, markers, crayons, etc.) to participate in the fun! Please note, you can stay as long or as short as you’d like for this event. You can choose to stay for the follow-up activities, or just join in for the short reading time at the beginning (approximately 15 minutes).
